Who we are
Dr John Wormald is Managing
Partner
of autoPOLIS,
with a particular focus on Europe. He has worked on a wide
range of projects for vehicle
manufacturers, components suppliers and government agencies. He
previously worked for Booz.Allen.Hamilton, Renault and the Boston
Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from Insead, a Ph.D. from
Harvard, a BA from Oxford and is fluent in French,
German and English. He is co-author of Driving
Over a Cliff? and Time for a Model Change.
Patrick Guiraud is a director with autoPOLIS
and heads up the firm's Paris office. He has extensive consulting
experience in the components industry and the automotive aftermarket
throughout Europe and has chaired a major automotive industry
commission in France. Prior to joining autoPOLIS
Patrick had a 35-year international career
with the automotive division of SKF during which he gained extensive
line and
staff experience.
Kim Rennick heads up the
firm's Australian office. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer and
has experience with many global blue-chip
corporations in a wide range of industries, including IT,
Mining, Steel Telecommunications and Petrochemicals. Prior to
joining autoPOLIS,
he had a
20-year career with Honeywell.
He has experience working in Australia, US, UK,
Europe and Asia Pacific.
John
F. Monk is
based with autoPOLIS in Detroit,
with over 20 years in the automotive sector. Prior to joining the firm
in 2002, he was Director of Business & Strategic Planning for Asc,
a specialty vehicle manufacturer. His background also includes high
profile assignments such as pioneering the first aluminum wheel plant
in China for CITIC, China's leading investment group. John
has significant experience in vehicle design and component
manufacturing.
Can Gürocak
is based with autoPOLIS in Istanbul,
Turkey. He has more than 25-years of industry experience, including 20
years in some Turkey’s leading automotive companies. His
focus is strategic management working for vehicle manufacturers,
distributors, importers and dealers as well as for retail and fleet
operators. He also focuses on the design and implementation of new
management tools and techniques to increase the performance of
automotive retail companies.
Pearce
Flannery
is the founder and CEO of Pragmatica, Ireland's premier automotive
management consultancy. Prior to establishing Pragmatica in 1994, he
spent over 15 years in
senior positions within the Automotive sector,
including such companies as Mapfre Assistencia
of Madrid and FIAT
Auto
Spa.
